Ahead of the 2022 Osun gubernatorial election slated for July 16th, 2022, the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held its special stakeholders meeting today at the party secretariat to present Prince kola Adewusi from Ife East Local Government as the running mate to Sen. Ademola Jackson Nuruudeen Adeleke.
The state acting chairman of the party, Hon Sunday Bisi, in his opening remarks welcomed party members and pray for victory in the governorship election. He, therefore, presented Hon kola Adewusi a prince of the source to the party members and the public.
Hon kola Adewusi in his acceptance speech thanked Almighty God for the privilege given to him by the party, the Adeleke dynasty and the entire Ife PDP zone to serve as the running mate to Sen. Adeleke. He promised to serve with diligence, and total cooperation with the governor if elected by God’s grace.
