JUST IN: LP Blasts Kenneth Okonkwo, Reveals His Secret Mission In The Party

The Labour Party (LP) has blasted Kenneth Okonkwo following his departure from the party.

The LP disclosed that Okonkwo had ulterior motives for joining the party, labeling him as a “mole” adding that his exit from the party was expected.

The party condemned Okonkwo’s recent criticism of its 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, calling it both unfortunate and attention-seeking.

On Sunday, Okonkwo, a prominent LP member, publicly stated his lack of confidence in Obi’s ability to build a winning party. He claimed that even if people vote for Obi, he lacks the capability to secure the mandate. Okonkwo cited recent events within the party as reasons for his decision to pursue a new political path.

In response, LP National Publicity Secretary Obiora Ifoh issued a statement saying that Okonkwo’s resignation was anticipated. Ifoh criticized Okonkwo’s attacks on Obi as regrettable and attention-seeking.

“Kenneth Okonkwo’s resignation from the Labour Party was not unexpected. His criticism of Peter Obi is unfortunate,” Ifoh said. “However, we will not dignify his remarks with a response, recognizing his tendency for seeking attention.”
