JUST IN: 20 New Coronavirus Cases Recorded In Nigeria
Nigeria has recorded 20 new coronavirus cases, bringing the number of infections persons in the country to 343.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced via Twitter on Monday.
In a breakdown, NCDC said 13 cases was recorded in Lagos, 2 in Edo, 2 in Kano, 2 in Ogun and 1 in Ondo.
However, 91 patients have been discharged with 10 deaths recorded.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the lockdown in Lagos and Abuja by two weeks.
The President made this announcement in a national broadcast this evening aired on NTA. He urged Nigerians to be very calm and endure the measures put in place in order to overcome COVID-19.
