Is Sex Food? Pastor Siju Iluyomade Provides Answer

As the discussion on marriage and adultery continues within the main auditorium of Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David, Victoria Island, on the Handmaiden platform of Dr Siju Iluyomade.

Due to its delicate nature, the topic has continued to pique public interest, particularly because it directly affects both gender and society as a whole.

The topic, which piqued the interest of the men folk program in Pastor Idowu Iluyomade’s ministry, echoed among some participants, who linked sex to food, implying that women should not be seen starving their husbands unless there is a very good cause.

Pastor ID emphasized on her part, saying that calling food is only a figurative phrase that is highly symbolic in nature.

Pastor Siju, on the other hand, disagreed wholeheartedly on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, that “calling sex food indecent and savage” is “indecent and barbaric.”

Dr Siju, the convener of Handmaiden, a forum dedicated to informing, encouraging, and empowering women in society, said, “Men should cease from calling sex food, and our men must include their wives in their sex drives.” Adultery is a punishment for suffering; every action we take in this area either brings us closer or further away from God, depending on how we resist the temptation.”

“Love is more than sex,” she continued, “marriage is a place of peace, and we must pray for that peace.”

Stolen water is delicious, but death is the end, according to her.
