How Sunday Igboho’s Residence Was Allegedly Attacked (Details)
More information about the gunmen’s attack on the home of Sunday Adeyemo, a Yoruba secessionist known as Sunday Igboho, has surfaced.
The residence, which is located in the Soka area of Oluyole Local Government Area in Oyo State, was allegedly invaded around 2 a.m. on Thursday, according to NewsDirect.
Many of Sunday Igboho’s close friends said that security agents broke into his home, a charge that some security agents who talked with DAILY POST disputed.
They speculated that the reported invasion could be a ruse by Igboho to seek sympathy from the people.
Security agents, according to people close to Sunday Igboho who talked with journalists on Thursday, entered the apartment.
Mr. Johnson, one of the property’s inhabitants, said he hid someplace in the house during the operation.

“They were asking people where is Chief. They killed some people. There is one Alfa who was in the house, he was observing Nafilah, they killed him as he was observing the Nafilah,” he said.
Mr. Oladiran Oladokun, convener of the Igangan Development Advocates, confirmed the attack to DAILY POST on Thursday.
On Thursday, Oladokun, who was one of the first callers at the Igboho residence, condemned the attack.
DAILY POST’s attempts to elicit responses from the Oyo State Police Command’s Spokesperson, Mr. Adewale Osifeso, and the Nigerian Army’s 2 Division, Odogbo Ibadan, Major I.O. Iweha, were unsuccessful.
Several calls to Mr. Osifeso’s cellphone went unanswered, and he has not to respond to messages provided to him as of the time of reporting this article on Thursday.
Iweha told the DAILY POST that he has yet to see proof that the invasion was carried out by security agents.
As of the time of reporting this article, the Army spokesman has not responded to the video or the messages submitted to him.
The raid’s culprits have yet to be identified.
