Guinness World Record: Gov. Fubara To Reward 28 Yr. Old Indigene For Longest Distance Crossed On Foot
Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara wants indigenes of the state, especially the youth, to take pride in their state and engage in meaningful ventures that would project the state in a positive light.
According to AIT, Governor Fubara on Saturday, welcomed a 28-year-old indigene of the state, Promise Wosu who had set a world record for the longest distance crossed on foot and urged Rivers sons and daughters to be good ambassadors wherever they are and also protect the interest of the state at all time
It took him five days to journey on foot from Lagos State to Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Today, Promise Wosu has actualized the dream of setting the Guinness world record for the longest distance crossed on foot.

The determined Youngman began his solo marathon from the popular toll gate at Lekki, Lagos on Tuesday, October 17, and arrived in Port Harcourt on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
The 28-year-old indigene of Emohua local government area of Rivers State covered a distance of over 600 kilometers to set his world record.
