Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, credited President Bola Tinubu for the achievements of his administration in its first year in office during his thank-you tour to the Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency on Friday.

The cleric-turned-politician emphasized that every milestone in the state, such as road construction, underpass development, and the payment of salaries, pensions, and gratuities, as well as the remodelling of the Assembly Complex and State Secretariat, were attributable to Tinubu’s support.

“Tinubu has provided me with unparalleled support,” Alia remarked, urging the state’s residents to exercise patience as President Tinubu harbors “very good intentions for the citizenry.”

He additionally pledged to refurbish and elevate the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) Square in Makurdi to international standards.

Governor Alia further announced that going forward, salary and pension payments would commence on the 22nd of each month.
