Ghana Deports Nigerian Singer, Bella Shmurda For Attacking Doctor Who Announced His COVID-19 Result

Bella Shmurda, a Nigerian singer, was ordered deported from Ghana by the Adjabeng Circuit Court in Accra after he was found guilty of hitting a doctor with a fork while in quarantine at the MPlaza Hotel in Accra.

The hitmaker of “Cash App” was deported together with two others, Ramsey Omeofe and Jubreel Abimbola, and fined GH2,000 apiece.

The singer, whose true name is Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, and his collaborators were also barred from traveling to Ghana for three months by the court.

After being placed in quarantine for testing positive for COVID-19, Bella Shmurda and the two others allegedly became upset and attacked the doctor.

The three was reportedly quarantined and tested for COVID upon their arrival in Ghana, as was required during the pandemic.

They were quarantined at the MPlaza hotel in Accra, where their swabs were taken and they tested positive for the virus, requiring them to stay in isolation.

They reportedly attacked the doctor who gave the news with a fork, apparently enraged that the event would disrupt their tour to Ghana.

The attack, it was learned, was part of the trio’s purported attempt to get out of quarantine.
