Shehu Sani Reacts To Oyedepo’s Statement On Buhari’s Government

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to the views and statement of Nigerians on what Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide said about the introduction of  a bill to tackle Hate Speech by Buhari led federal government.

Reacting on his Twitter page, Shehu Sani, who left the APC prior to the 2019 general election, advised Nigerians attacking the man of God to stop the act.

Naija News recalls Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners Chapel, has condemned the Nigerian Senate for trying to introduce a bill to tackle Hate Speech.

Speaking on Sunday while delivering a sermon at the Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Ogun State, Bishop Oyedepo described the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the worst in Nigeria’s history.

He wondered why the Buhari government was trying to criminalise hate speech while individuals that kill others walk freely. The outspoken cleric described the hate speech bill as the most ridiculous bill anyone can introduce in the senate.

Shehu Sani, however, urged Nigerians who are uncomfortable with Bishop David Oyedepo’s statement about President Muhammadu Buhari government to seek divine healing.

If Bishop Oyedepo really to speak the truth, let him start from himself and other Christian leaders. They will use our money to buy best cars, houses ,aeroplanes for themselves and their children and the poor masses in their churches can’t afford food.
