Femi Fani-Kayode Blasts Gov Zulum Over Demolition Of Church Building
Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has slammed Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for demolishing a church building in the state.
The government demolished a church edifice belonging to the Local Church of Brethren, LCB, under Ekkliziyan Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN), a.k.a Church of Brethren Maduganari, on Thursday last week, according to NEWS DIRECT.
Several Nigerians were outraged by the occurrence, notably the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who demanded that the governor promptly replace the demolished monument.
Despite the demolition, worshippers gathered at the location for a regular church service on Sunday.
Femi Kayode reacted by writing on his verified Facebook page on Monday that no one can stop the body of Christ from tremendously growing.
He wrote, “No matter how hard ANYONE tries, knocking down Churches will not stop the massive expansion and growth of the Christian faith.
Exposed!! Popular Abuja doctor revealed how men can naturally and permanently cure poor erection, quick ejaculation, small and shameful manhood without side effects. Even if you are hypertensive or diabetic . Stop the use of hard drugs for sex!! It kills!
“The Church was founded on the blood of the martyrs and the crushed and broken bodies and bones of the saints.
“Governor Zullum of Borno state bulldozed the Church building but he could not stop the faithful from going there to worship even on the stones and the rubble.
“Kill us a thousand times and millions more will rise up and grow.
“The gates of hell shall NOT prevail against the Church of Christ.
“I am so proud of the Christians of Borno State. They must always remember that they are not alone: God is with them and we love them”.
What message is the governor sending to the world for demolishing a living church. No soldiers or any security outfits has been sent there by the Nigerian authorities. I do hope if any governor in the south orders for the demolition of a mosque same calmness will be maintained. The God of the Christians doesn’t require men to fight for Him, He’ll fight his battles.
