Expert Panelists Announced for Abuja Social Media Summit

The organizers of the Abuja Social Media Summit have unveiled a prominent lineup of panelists and moderators for the upcoming event, set to take place on September 18, 2024, at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

The panel will be headlined by Senator Shehu Sani, a notable figure in the Nigerian Senate, alongside a diverse group of experts including; Segun Sowunmi, Deju Adeyunju, Victory Njoku, Ogenna Ekwubiri, Oj Poshearella, Dayo Israel, Sadiq Zaki, Fatima Sanni and Tanko Yinusa.

Nancy Ilochi, a Digital Communication Expert, will moderate the panel discussions, while Kunle Adebanjo, host of Mandate 36 Radio Network, will serve as the event’s master of ceremonies.

This expert panel will discuss the impact of social media on public discourse, governance, and civic engagement in Nigeria. The event aims to foster meaningful dialogue on the evolving role of digital platforms in shaping national conversations.
