COVID-19: EFCC Denies Unvaccinated Employees, Visitors Entry Into Offices

On Monday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) prohibited unvaccinated employees from entering its offices in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The Nigerian government declared a few months ago that employees who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine will be barred entrance to government workplaces beginning December 1.

On Monday, December 13, security operatives barred civil servants and the general public from entering the anti-corruption agency’s offices in Abuja unless they had proof of COVID-19 vaccination and negative PCR tests.

Meanwhile, the development of the novel Omicron form has raised new concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
