Comedian Princess Reacts As Baba Ijesha Is Granted Bail
Princess Damilola Adekoya, a Nigerian comedienne, has spoken out after Nollywood star Olanrewaju James, also known as Baba Ijesha, was given bail.
Baba Ijesha, who has been in police detention since April for allegedly defiling Princess’ foster daughter, was granted bail on health grounds by a magistrate who was at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti to evaluate some cases in order to decongest the police facility late Monday evening, May 17th.
Meanwhile, Adesina Ogunlana, the actor’s lawyer, is working on completing his bail conditions, which include having two sureties.
One of the sureties must be a Level 10 public officer, and the other must be an actor’s relative. The bail amount has been set at N500,000.00. Due to the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria’s strike, Baba Ijesha is yet to be charged in court.
Princess reacted to this by posting on her Instagram page that she hasn’t given up hope, even though Baba Ijesha has been granted bail.
With various hashtags on rape and child molestation, the comedian turned actress emphasized that she might not win right away, but she will absolutely win.
