Kaduna Government Extends Ban On Motorcycles In State Indefinitely

The Kaduna State Government has extended the prohibition on motorbikes being used for business or personal reasons in the state indefinitely.

Samuel Aruwan, the state’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, announced the news on Tuesday in a statement.

The state government’s first three-month restriction ended in December 2021, according to reports.

The decision was made as part of a plan to minimize the state’s high percentage of insecurity.

Other containment procedures, according to Aruwan, were also completely in place.

“Restriction on the movement of tricycles from dusk till dawn (7pm to 6am) in Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Igabi, Chikun, Kachia, Kagarko and Kajuru LGAs,” he said.
