BREAKING: Tension In Plateau As Speaker Swears In 9 Out Of 16 APC Lawmakers

Tension is brewing in Plateau State as nine out of the 16 All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers were sworn in by the Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Gabriel Dewan.

The swearing-in ceremony reportedly occurred in the early hours of Friday in Jos.

According to sources, the member from Jos East was appointed Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.

Dewan reportedly justified the swearing-in based on a letter he received, citing its source as the justification.
