APC national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has shared his thoughts on the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.

In a post on X, Omorki described Ganduje as a man who looks foolish but intelligent.

According to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), chieftain, Ganduje has the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Bola Tinubu gift to understands the greatest rule in politics.

Omokri said that the national chairman is slow to anger, strategic but often get underestimated.

He believes Ganduje understands that there are no permanent friend or enemy just permanent interests.

Omokri wrote;

“Ganduje has the Obasanjo and Tinubu gift: He looks foolish but is extremely intelligent. He is also quick to hear, slow to anger, and even slower to speak and act. And as a result, he is strategic, whereas many others, especially those who underestimate him, are erratic. And he understands the greatest rule in politics. No permanent friend or enemy. Only permanent interests. And understanding that rule enables him to work with people he does like to achieve a goal he likes.”

His comment comes days after Ganduje revealed how the APC nailed Rabiu Kwankwaso and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in the Kano gubernatorial election.

Recall that the Tribunal annulled the Kano governorship results where the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared Kabir Yusuf winner of the March 18 election.

Reacting to this, Appeal Court judgement, Ganduje who was speaking to party supporters said Kwankwaso was so desperate to become president that he did not notice INEC had closed accepting nomination forms, when he joined the NNPP.

He noted that they were aware of the development that was why they waited for the right time to strike.

“They were in PDP and when the crisis heated up and they were punched repeatedly they left the party and started groping for a platform. Unfortunately, they ran into a political party symbolizing fruits. They were given tickets because their leader was daydreaming; their leader was ambitious to be the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but he was frightened.”

“And because they desperately wanted a governor in Kano State, the party gave them a ticket to contest. But they made a serious blunder because when they joined the party, INEC had closed submission of nomination forms. But they were blind and uneducated. They went into the ring without making careful observation of this.

“They did not know that we laid in wait. We took the file, submitted it to Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gwuna and told him to hold it tight. When we filed a petition at the Kano governorship election tribunal, we told the court that they were not fielded by the party. We told the court that when INEC closed accepting names of candidates, they did not join the party.
