A day after his declaration for presidency in 2023, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will later today meet with members of the Senate All Progressive Congress (APC) Causus in Abuja.
This was made known by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, during Tuesday’s plenary session.
Lawan announced the invitation of the Vice President, inviting members of the Senate APC Causus to Iftar this Tuesday evening at his official residence, Aguda House.
The meeting, News Direct learnt, is part of his consultations with critical stakeholders ahead of the APC primaries coming up next month.
Recall that, Osinbajo had earlier met with some APC governors before officially declaring to contest for the presidency on Monday.
The meeting billed for 7p.m. will also serve as fast breaking for the Senators as adherents of Christianity and Islam, the two major religions, are currently observing fasting as prescribed in the Holy Books.
