BREAKING: Labour Leaders Storm NLC HQ As Ajaero Goes To Police Over Terrorism Links

Labour leaders have gathered at the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) headquarters in support of NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, who has been summoned by the police over allegations of terrorism financing.

Ajaero is scheduled to report to the police facility at 10:00 a.m. today. By 8:00 a.m., labour leaders had begun assembling at the NLC HQ to show solidarity with the nation’s top labour official. They plan to lead a peaceful procession to the police station, where Ajaero will be questioned on charges including terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony. Police officers are stationed nearby to maintain order.

The issue of Ajaero’s police invitation has been generating controversy with labour leaders accusing the authorities of highhandedness and trying to muzzle the labour union.
