BREAKING: Two Kidnapped Zamfara College Staff, Student Escape
Two staff members and one student from Zamfara College of Agriculture and Animal Science Bakura had managed to flee and return to the college.
This was revealed by Ali Atiku, the College’s Deputy Provost, during a press conference on Monday.
He said, “Two staff and one student escaped from the bandits after they kidnapped them and returned to the school early this morning.
“As I am talking to you now, we have formally discovered that the bandits have kidnapped 15 students all of them male, three women and one person who are also our staff and killed two of our security watchmen.”
As of the time of reporting this story, the State Police command had yet to comment on the matter.
Alhaji Habibu Mainasara, the College’s Provost, was once kidnapped by bandits and released after paying a ransom.
