BREAKING: Catholic Priest Kidnapped By Bandits Regains Freedom (PHOTO)

Reverend Father Mikah Suleiman, who was abducted by bandits two weeks ago, has been freed.

In a statement released on Sunday by Revd. Fr. Pascal Salifu, Director of Communications for the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, it was confirmed that Father Suleiman, parish priest of St. Raymond Catholic Church Damba, Gusau, Zamfara State, is now safe and receiving essential care and assistance.

“We are delighted to announce the safe release of Fr. Mikah Suleiman, who was kidnapped on 22/06/2024,” the statement read. “We express our profound gratitude to God for His protection, and to all who offered prayers and support during this challenging period.

“We also appreciate the efforts of the authorities and everyone involved in securing Fr. Mikah’s release. He is currently undergoing necessary care and support.

“Please continue to keep him in your prayers as he embarks on his recovery journey.”
