Buhari to Address Nigerians 48 Hours After Lekki Shooting
President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation in a national broadcast by 7pm, Presidential aide, Femi Adesina has announced.
This comes after 48 hours after men of the Nigerian Army open fire on peaceful protesters in Lekki, Lagos.
Mr Adesina said the President decided to address the nation following a detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country.
He urged Television, radio and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
