BREAKING: Buhari Meets Matawalle, Ayade In Aso Villa

On Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) received the Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, and his counterpart from Cross River State, Ben Ayade, in the State House in Abuja.

Both governors have lately abandoned the Peoples Democratic Party in favor of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Though the contents of their meeting are unknown, images of the event have been released on the Nigerian government’s Facebook page.

The photos were captioned, “President Muhammadu Buhari receives in audience New APC Governors of Cross River and Zamfara State led by APC Chairman Caretaker Committee at the State House, Abuja | 12th July 2021.”
