EFCC Arrests 17 ‘Yahoo Boys’ In Benue Capital Makurdi

In Benue, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 17 online fraud suspects.

The suspected ‘Yahoo lads’ were apprehended in Makurdi, the state capital.

Samuel C., Uvande A., Joseph G., Ageva A., Emmanuel O., Ochiwu M., Dominic O., Ikpema S., and Otse A. are the names of the candidates.

T. Aondowase, T. Aondowase, T. Aondowase, T. Audu-war L., Terver J., Dav J., Moses V., Abdullahi A., Agehson O., and Andoaver T. are among the others.

“Actionable intelligence on their alleged criminal actions” led to the arrests of the young guys in several locations.

Mobile phones, laptops, and other incriminating documents were among the items recovered from them during their arrest.

“The suspects will be arraigned as soon as investigations are concluded”, EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren said on Monday.
