BREAKING: Ayu Emerges PDP’s Consensus National Chairmanship Candidate

Former Senate President Iyorchia Ayu has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party’s consensus chairmanship candidate (PDP).

After a protracted meeting of the PDP’s Northern Caucus at the Bauchi State Governors’ Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, he made his decision.

Apart from accepting the Zoning Committee’s resolution that the current National Working Committee (NWC) seats be exchanged between the North and the South, the PDP’s National Executive Committee (NEC) has zoned the office of National Chairman to the North.
