BREAKING: Tinubu May Return On Sunday

Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos State, is expected to return to Nigeria on Sunday to a “grand welcome” prepared by his political friends, according to SaharaReporters.

According to SaharaReporters, despite Tinubu’s deteriorating health, the return is being staged to give the impression that the APC leader is healthy and fit to run for the much-discussed president in 2023.

Mr. Tinubu is expected to travel to the United States after his scheduled homecoming on Sunday to have additional procedures, proving that everything is not well with the former Lagos governor.

“Tinubu is planning a choreographed return to Nigeria on Sunday. Baba (Tinubu) will return for more surgeries shortly after. A grand welcome is being arranged at the Nigeria Police College in Ikeja, Lagos.

“That’s if everything goes as planned and his health permits him to take the gruesome trip – because the trip is also going to tell on his recuperation,” a source revealed.

At least over 30 politicians have visited the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, in London, the United Kingdom in the last two months.

Tinubu, who celebrated his 69th birthday in March 2021 and command an arguably large following of political loyalists, has been rumoured to nurse presidential ambition in 2023.

Tinubu’s health has been a subject of controversy of late but in a press statement on July 31, 2021, his Media Adviser, Tunde Rahman, said though the former Lagos State Governor was out of Nigeria, he was not hospitalised as claimed by some reports.
