BREAKING: Fubara’s Govt Begins Demolition Of Rivers House Of Assembly (PHOTOS)

The political turmoil in Rivers State intensified on Wednesday as approximately 10 bulldozers entered the premises of the state House of Assembly, initiating the demolition of the complex.

The factional Speaker, Edison Ehie, along with other lawmakers aligned with the governor, Siminalayi Fubara, conducted a session early on Wednesday before the demolition commenced.

During the session, Ehie stated that the complex was in need of repairs due to the explosion that occurred on October 30, 2023. He mentioned that the governor would arrange an alternative location for them to convene temporarily.

The demolition is taking place under heavy security.
