Police reveals what was found in Mohbad's house at Lekki, Lagos State
In a press conference today, Friday, 6th October, the police spoke on developments regarding the death of Mohbad and issued some vital updates.
Speaking, the Lagos State commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa noted that some members of Nigeria’s Police Force visited Mohbad’s residence in Lekki, Lagos State in a bid to obtain CCTV footage as regards activities that went down in his house prior to his death, but the CCTV camera was not functional.
He further stated that what was found were just syringes and drugs that were used by the auxiliary nurse who administered treatment to the singer which eventually led to his death.
During a press briefing held on Friday, October 6th, the police provided updates regarding the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, shedding light on significant developments in the case.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, disclosed that some officers of the Nigerian Police Force had conducted an investigative visit to Mohbad’s residence in Lekki, Lagos State. The purpose of this visit was to secure CCTV footage capturing events that transpired in the singer’s home leading up to his demise.
However, it was discovered that the CCTV camera was non-functional, hindering potential insights into the events of that fateful day.
What the officers did find at the singer’s house were syringes and remnant of drugs, which were identified as the substances used by the auxiliary nurse responsible for administering treatment to Mohbad.

In a related development, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, also provided an update regarding the autopsy and toxicology test results of Mohbad’s death.
During a live broadcast on the 6th of October, Commissioner Owohunwa stated that the authorities are currently awaiting the outcomes of these critical examinations, which were conducted on the late singer’s body.
Additionally, the Commissioner spoke on the individuals who are currently in their custody in connection with Mohbad’s death. These persons include the principal suspect; the nurse who injected Mohbad, along with Mohbad’s friend, Spending, Primeboy, Sam Larry, and Naira Marley.
