Reno Omokri, a former assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, projected the outcome of the 2023 presidential election on Sunday, as well as the possibilities of the ruling All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party.
He claimed that if the APC designated its presidential ticket to the South West, the main opposition party would lose the election if it was zoned to a region with low voter turnout.
In a tweet on Sunday, former presidential aide and outspoken critic of President Muhammadu Buhari’s (retd.) government, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), analyzed the 2019 election with voter data to back up his forecast.
Politics, he claims, is a numbers game rather than a sentimental one.
He wrote, “The 2019 election by voter numbers:
NW: 8.2 M
NC: 4.4 M
NE: 4.3 M
SW: 3.8 M
SS: 3:2 M
SE: 2.09 M
“If APC gives their ticket to the SW, PDP will LOSE if it gives its ticket to any zone with a lower voting strength. Politics is a game of numbers, not sentiments!”
