VP Osibanjo Shares What He Has Achieved While Buhari Is Away

The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osibanjo has taken to Twitter to share full details of what he has achieved since President Buhari left Nigeria for London.

Recall that President Buhari traveled to London for a “routine” medical check-up two days before the country’s doctors went on strike over unpaid salaries.

However, Yemi Osibanjo shared a recap of some of the things they were up to last week via his Twitter page. Below is a list of what he has achieved;

1. On the 4th of April, 2021, Yemi Osibanjo visited some places in Ebonyi state to commiserate with the families that lost their loved ones in the attack and to engage with leaders of the communities.

2. On the 6th of April, 2021, Osibanjo visited Imo state to commission road projects and to inspect the damage caused at the correctional facility.

3. On the 7th of April, 2021, Yemi Osibanjo decorated the new Acting Inspector General of the NPF, Usman Alkali Baba.

4. On the 8th of April, 2021, Yemi Osibanjo chaired the tripartite committee meeting comprising of Executive, legislative and APC party members.

5. On the 9th of April, 2021, Vice-President Yemi attended the book launch of the First Lady, Dr Mrs Aisha Buhari.

6. On the 10th of April, 2021, Osibanjo attended the Turbaning Ceremony of the Minister for Water Resources, Suleiman H. Adamu as Galadima by the Emir of Kazaure in Jigawa state.
