SCOAN: Top Nigerian Pastors Fail To Attend TB Joshua’s Funeral

When Temitope Balogun Joshua, aka TB Joshua, the senior Prophet of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, was buried on Friday, major pastors, church owners, and religious leaders in Nigeria were noticeably absent.

TB Joshua, who passed away on June 5, 2021, was put to rest in the Synagogue on Friday, with the entire world in attendance.

The pastor was claimed to have died on Saturday after closing a presentation at the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, shocking his congregation and onlookers.

Government officials, SCOAN members, and Christians from all over the world attended the funeral service, which was conducted at the Church in Lagos, Nigeria.

However, top Pastors in the country such as Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel; W.F Kumuyi of Deeper Life Church, Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church; Lazarus Mouka of the Mountain of Fire Church; Chris Okotie, Tunde Bakare, Matthew Ashimolowo, David Ibiyeomie, among many others were not at the event.

According to remarks and public opinion, many pastors did not express their condolences to the cleric’s family upon his death.

Politicians, friends, and well-wishers, as well as those who appeared to dislike the ministry in the past, have expressed their condolences and sympathies to the departed family and the SCOAN church through various channels. The funeral was attended by a few people.

One of the dignitaries at the burial was Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was also present during the funeral, as were other prominent politicians, national and international organizations.
