AFCON: Musa Rejoins Super Eagles, Names Nigerian Star More Dangerous Than Salah

Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, has returned to the squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations match against Egypt.

Musa claimed that Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze is more dangerous than Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in a press conference before the team’s departure to Cameroon on Thursday morning.

The Pharaohs should be concerned about Chukwueze’s threat, according to Musa, who added that the Super Eagles are more experienced now than they were in Egypt’s last edition of the competition.

“Experience is going to help us a lot. In Egypt, we had only two players that had been in the AFCON, me and Kenneth Omeruo, and then we finished in the third position,” he said.

“Definitely, I know everybody will be talking about Salah but if you look at our own side we have a lot of players they would be worried about.

“They have to think about our own players. They only talk about Salah but we have Chukwueze, a lot of players from the wings that are more dangerous, so their own defenders too will be thinking about us.”

Musa had left the camp on Wednesday after losing a family member.
