Uche Nwosu’s Arrest: Okorocha Issues 24 Hours Ultimatum To Police

Senator Rochas Okorocha of Imo West has given the police 24 hours to expose his son-in-law Uche Nwosu’s crime.

If the police do not comply with Okorocha’s demand within the next 24 hours, he has threatened to take legal action to force the police to release the politicians’ alleged crime.

Nwosu, a former Chief of Staff to Governor Rochas Okorocha, was apprehended on Sunday at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama Obieri, in the state’s Nkwerre Local Government Area.

Armed police officers had detained Nwosu following his mother’s burial during a church service.

The state Police Command, on the other hand, has released him unconditionally.

However, speaking with journalists in Owerri, the state capital, Okorocha said: “I am going to wait for 24 hours to know what Nwosu has done. We want to know his offences.

“24 hours is enough for the police to do that which is legal. They should let the world know about his offences and failure to do that I will take legal action to demand his release.”
