Troops Reportedly Kill 10 Boko Haram Terrorists, Rescue Kidnapped Victims In Borno

Ten Boko Haram terrorists are said to have been killed by Operation Hadin Kai troops in an ambush on the route between Magumeri and Gubio in Borno State.

The terrorists set up a check station and kidnapped a large number of commuters Tuesday near Titiya village, according to information obtained by DAILY POST.

According to sources, the highly motivated troops who responded to distress calls were on hand to counter the move and dealt a humiliating defeat to the terrorists, who abandoned their evil mission and fled, according to Zagazola Makama, a counter insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region.

He made a suggestion that while the army pursued the fleeing terrorists and killed 10 of them, some of the terrorists were able to escape with gunshot wounds.

The sources explained that all the passengers were rescued, while two stolen vehicles were recovered and handed over to their rightful owners.
