According to reports, a fire consumed Nguru Central Market in Yobe State’s Nguru Local Government Area, destroying valuables worth millions of naira.

The fire started around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, according to witnesses.

They further stated that the fire started in the shoe and plastic sectors and spread to several stores.

At the time of filing the report, the cause of the fire was said to be unknown.
