Terrorists Setting Up Camps In Lagos, Oyo, Ogun Forests — Gani Adams

Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, has said that terrorists planned to target the states of Lagos, Oyo, and Ogun.

According to Adams, the information report he had at his disposal revealed that terrorists were erecting camps in the forests of the states of Osun, Oyo, and Ogun.

In a statement sent by his media assistant Kehinde Aderemi, he made this disclosure.

Adams claimed that a large ammunition stash was seen with the terrorists.

He advised the governors of the Southwest to combat the upcoming attacks by using local security personnel.

The terrorists would never be permitted to assault the Southwest, according to Adams.

“We are aware of their plans to strike in Lagos, Ibadan, Oyo State and Abeokuta in Ogun State, however, I implore all the governors in the south-west to recruit local security service structure in their various local governments.

“Information reaching me today is that the terrorists are in-between Osu forest and Ile Ife, Osun State, fully armed with various ammunition and they are presently in the forest between Abeokuta and Ibadan planning to attack us in the south-west,” he said.

Recall that Adams had said the security challenges and the state of the country showed that Nigeria was “sleepwalking into collapse”.
