Southern Governors Reveal Where Next Nigeria’s President Must Come From

The governors of the southern states have agreed that the next president of the country must be from the region (South).

This was one of the choices made today (Monday) in Lagos by the governors of the southern states.

The summit also discussed insecurity, constitutional revision, PIB, and anti-open grazing laws in all member states, according to the communiqué.

The group applauded legislators for passing the PIB, but rejected the 3 percent made aside for host communities.

The governors also decided overwhelmingly on Lagos as the permanent Secretariat.
