Sanwo-Olu Appoints Bolaji Oreagba As LASTMA General Manager

Bolaji Oreagba has been confirmed as General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority by Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (LASTMA).

Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the Head of Service, announced the appointment in a statement on Tuesday.

Oreagba is expected to ensure efficient and effective traffic management on Lagos roads, according to the HoS.

On the 8th of December 1993, the new GM, a Deputy Controller (Traffic), joined the State Public Service and rose through the ranks to become LASTMA Director of Operations.

Oreagba has a Master’s Degree in Transportation Planning and Management and has participated in local and international capacity-building programs on intermodal traffic management systems.

Muri-Okunola tasked him with justifying his promotion and leveraging his experience to propel the agency forward.

The outgoing General Manager, Olajide Oduyoye, was thanked by the HoS for his dedication to duty and service to Lagos.
