“Shekau Isn’t Dead, Stop Rejoicing”, Biafra Group Mocks Adamu Garba, Others

The Biafra Nations League (BNL) has reminded Adamu Garba, a former presidential candidate and APC chieftain, and other Nigerians who are celebrating the death of Boko Haram commander Abubakar Shekau that the terrorist commander is not dead.

All those gloating at his death, according to BNL, should conceal their faces in shame.

Garba had claimed that the killing of Boko Haram leader Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, is a lesson to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho.

Shekau was said to have been slain in a skirmish between his forces and Islamic State West Africa Province fighters (ISWAP).

He was reported to have detonated a bomb to avoid being apprehended alive.

The Nigerian military and intelligence agencies are aware of Shekau’s death, according to NEWS DIRECT.

However, according to BNL, this is the sixth time Shekau has been reported dead.

In a statement made available to NEWS DIRECT on Friday, BNL’s National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richard, was reacting to a remark made by Adamu, insulting the APC chieftain and other government officials who are rejoicing over the news.

Shekau appears to have multiple lives and resurrects everytime he dies, according to BNL, adding that if Shekau did die, the government had no reason to rejoice because the military failed to kill or capture him.

According to BNL, “there is no lesson to be learned from Shekau’s purported death,” and that “Boko Haram is a small gang in Borno, whereas Biafra is a nation.”

“If any notable Biafran is assassinated, it could cause regional instability, which could lead to another civil war.”
