Presidential Aspirant, Orji Kalu Visits Buhari In Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari met with Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senate Chief Whip and a former governor, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Announcing the visit on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday night, Kalu, a presidential aspirant, wrote, “Tonight, I paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit to discuss major national issues and I am very satisfied with our discussion. I left him at 10pm and in good health. We look forward to a better Nigeria.”
The former governor of Abia’s visit could be linked to his bid to succeed Buhari as president in 2023.
Remember that Kalu indicated earlier this week that he had discussed his ambitions with President Obama.
Some Nigerians believe that Kalu has a chance if his party, the All Progressives Congress, finally offers the ticket to his region, despite the South-struggle East’s for the presidency.
