Police Arrest Two For Stealing Sallah Ram In Ogun
Adetunji Alagbe and Opeyemi Ogunlokun were detained by Ogun State Police Command agents on Tuesday, July 5 for stealing a Sallah ram from one Sodiq Abolore.
Sodiq Abolore reported that while he was sleeping in his home at around three in the morning, he heard an unusual noise in his compound that prompted him to peep through the window, only to find that the iron gate he used to block the entrance where he kept his Salah ram had been pulled down. It was learned that the suspects were arrested as a result of this report being filed at the Ogijo divisional headquarters.
Two of the three individuals who were being pursued were eventually caught, while the third managed to flee.
DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state police command’s spokeswoman, while confirming the incident said the ram was recovered, and the two suspects were taken to custody.
