Police Arrest UNILAG Student For Killing Super TV CEO

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Chidinma, an undergraduate student at the University of Lagos, for allegedly killing Usigo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, in the state’s Lekki region.

Chidinma was paraded at the police headquarters in Ikeja on Thursday, where she confessed to the crime.

According to Punch, the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, said Chidinma is a University of Lagos undergraduate who has confessed to the murder.

Also detained is the owner of the rented apartment where the horrible occurrence occurred.

Odumosu further stated that Ataga’s account had been frozen to prevent additional withdrawals by anyone seeking to drain the account due to his premature demise.

Since his assassination, the death of the late Ataga has been surrounded by controversy.

According to some internet stories, he was stabbed to death by an alleged mistress, with several wounds discovered in various sections of his body after they lodged in a location in Lagos’ Lekki neighborhood.

It was also stated that N5 million had been taken from his bank account, and that his phones, debit cards, and other valuables were vanished.
