Pastor Adeboye Reveals Solution To End Banditry

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has proposed that prayers be used to combat banditry.

Adeboye believes that the power of prayer will assist in the fight against banditry and other forms of crime in the region.

This was stated by the RCCG G.O. during his weekend visit to Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi.

He also expressed his displeasure with the kidnapping of a traditional ruler in the State and the assassination of another king.

Adeboye bemoaned the fact that traditional rulers are no longer respected by the people.

“Sir, please know that we are praying for the state.

“We are praying for this state because we are concerned that these bandits no longer regard the institution of Obaship as sacred. That is heartbreaking for a Yoruba boy like me.

“Because we are fighting a battle that neither human intelligence nor human skill can win. Because, according to the elders, you will never be as wise as someone who has set up an ambush for you; because the ambusher must have learned your movements, routes, and habits. Only God has the power to save you. However, there is a God who is capable of ambushing the ambusher.”
