Olubadan Stool: Ex-Oyo Senator, Lekan Balogun To Succeed Oba Adetunji

According to the DAILY POST, a former Oyo State senator, High Chief Mashood Olalekan Balogun, would succeed the immediate past Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji.

The departed monarch, Oba Adetunji of the Balogun line, was the Balogun of Ibadan territory till his installation.

He succeeded Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade and ascended the throne in March 2016.

At the age of 93, Oba Adetunji passed away in the early hours of Sunday, according to our source.
