Nnamdi Kanu’s Arrest Won’t Stop Killings By Bandits — Father Mbaka
Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest and spiritual director of Adoration Ministry Enugu in Nigeria, has stated that the arrest of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu will not stop bandit killings in Nigeria.
Even after Kanu’s arrest, banditry and kidnapping, according to the priest, have continued in the country.
Fr. Mbaka told his congregation that the federal government should stop fighting agitators and instead devote the same resources it used to apprehend Nnamdi Kanu to addressing issues like youth unemployment, which leads to banditry and other crimes that cause riots in the country.
