Nigerian Senator, Musa Visits APC Leader, Tinubu In London [PHOTOS]

Senator Mohammed Sani Musa of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Niger East, Chairman of the Senate Services Committee, has paid a visit to the ruling party’s National Leader in London, describing him as healthy and hearty.

Senator Musa told Vanguard in Abuja on his return to Nigeria that the visit to the former Lagos State governor was necessary because of the former governor’s status as a leader in the country, a mentor, and benefactor to many Nigerians.

The Senator made the trip along with the Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, APC, Ekiti Central; Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, APC, Lagos West, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, APC, Lagos East and Senator Adelere Oriolowo, APC, Osun West.

Senator Musa, APC National Chairmanship hopeful said, “Senator Tinubu remains amazingly passionate about Nigeria. He is hale and hearty. Tinubu was his jovial self and had discussions with the team on issues of national importance.

“The National Leader remains amazingly passionate about Nigeria. He is hale and hearty.

“We had a lengthy discussion about developments in the country; he was in high spirit, cheery, witty as usual and remains optimistic about the progress of the country.”

Senator Musa and others were among a group of high-ranking Nigerians who paid a visit to Tinubu in the United Kingdom following his absence from important party events such as the Lagos State local government elections and APC ward congresses.

The former governor was also visited by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Rotimi Akeredolu and Kayode Fayemi, governors of Ondo and Ekiti states, respectively, paid Tinubu a visit in London.
