At his hometown of Daura in Katsina State, northwest Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari voted.

According to NEWS DIRECT, the president and his wife Aisha arrived at the Sarkin Yara voting location in Daura at around 9:55 a.m. on Saturday.

The president answered press inquiries after casting his vote.

President Buhari stated that he is delegating the task of addressing concerns about potential violence during the general elections to the security services.
