BREAKING: Court Grants Cubana Chief Priest N10M Bail

Businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, famously known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been granted bail in the sum of N10 million with two sureties in like sum by Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos State.

The celebrity barman pleaded not guilty to charges of tampering and abusing the naira during his trial.

Cubana Chief Priest was arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on three counts related to the abuse of the naira by allegedly spraying and tampering with it at a social event, contravening the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007. The alleged incident occurred on February 13, 2024, at Eko Hotel.

During a social event, Cubana Chief Priest was accused of tampering with funds in the denomination of N500 notes issued by the CBN by spraying them for two hours.
