Precious Future Jonah is an uncommon Nigerian into a more uncommon area of businesses. His umbrella company, PreciousX Galactic encompasses a chain of businesses with presence in Space Science, Robotics, Smart Technology, Cryptocurrency & Fintech, Virtual Reality Gaming, eSports, eCommerce, Electrical and Electronics manufacturing.
Precious Future Jonah has a collection of companies, all deeply rooted in the field of science and technology. According to him, he was fascinated by science and technology at a tender age and the passion grew as he grew older. By the age of 11 he had started coding.
His business journey started in his university days, when out of his business ingenuity he established some online businesses.
“At a young age, I had passion for Business, Robotics, Astronomy, Space Science & Technology. I already started coding at the tender age of 11 years. Since I was kid I have always been amazed by life, nature, the world we live in and would like to know more about existence and how everything came to be, this drew me closer to the world of astronomy, space, extraterrestrials, science and technology,” he said in an interview.
Continuing, he revealed his business journey, the challenges and his vision to put Nigeria on the map in terms of science and technology.
He said, “After I graduated from the university and returned back to Nigeria, all I wanted was to build my companies and brand here in Nigeria as a Nigerian giving from Nigeria to the world. The only major challenge I had was constant electricity.
“Remember most of the applications I had, I already built them while I was in the university studying abroad, it was less stressful because there is 24 hours light and fast internet which was the basic thing I need to get my business running because it would be easy for me to monitor my servers and access them remotely when I needed to. But here in Nigeria I had to take a different turn, I had to improvise and be more strategic.”
His chain of business includes PreciousX Galactic Tech Limited (PreciousX®️ PreciousX Galactic®️), BrainX Innovative Systems Limited (BrainX®️), Yagotron Electronics Co. Limited (Yagotron®️), META Platforms Limited (META®️) and Precious InterActive Limited.
Precious Future Jonah was born on November 6, 1990 in Benin City where he had both his primary and secondary education. He is the first child in a family of four. Although raised in Edo State he is a native of Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
He studied Computer Science at ESGT University where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree.
He had his early education in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. Between 1992 and 1994, he attended Word of Faith Group of Schools where he completed nursery education. He was enrolled into Stemas Foundation Group of Schools for his primary education between 1994 and 2000.
He completed Junior Secondary School education between 2000 and 2003 also in Benin City, Edo State before proceeding to Odofa Private Secondary School, Festac, Lagos to complete his Senior Secondary Education (2003 and 2006).
