JUST IN: Unknown Gunmen Kidnap House of Assembly Member

Hon. Ismai Danbaba, a member of the Nassarawa state House of Assembly representing Nassarawa Central Constituency, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

Danbaba was kidnapped on his route to plateau state on Saturday, according to reliable sources.

Hon. Mohammed Omadefu, Chairman of the Nassarawa Assembly Information Committee, confirmed the incident, saying the lawmaker was abducted in the forest area of Sanga Local Government Area, Kaduna.

The kidnappers have established contact with the Assembly, but have yet to make any demands, according to this newspaper.
