JUST IN: Mob Kills Vigilante For Blasphemy In Abuja

On Saturday, a mob assassinated a vigilance group member for allegedly uttering a profane speech.

Members of the vigilance squad patrolling the Timber shed market at the Federal Housing Estate in Abuja allegedly sought to arrest several people loitering around the market in the early hours of Saturday, according to reports.

The residents were alleged to have pleaded with the vigilantes to release them in the name of Allah, but one of the vigilantes kicked them and made blasphemous comments.

The vigilante was beaten and stoned before being set ablaze, according to a market vendor who talked to our journalist in confidence.
